Thomas McCauley

Thomas McCauley

Tom is originally from Pittsfield, Massachusetts in the US. He started in particle astrophysics, getting his PhD from Northeastern University on the Pierre Auger experiment studying ultra-high-energy cosmic rays. He then moved to the IceCube experiment as a post-doctoral researcher at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. In 2006 he joined CMS and is now a member of the University of Notre Dame group. Tom works on data visualisation, web applications, open data, education and outreach, and looking for SUSY.
